To familiarize the student with the elements and principles of design as it pertains to 2D art, 3D art, graphic design and time-based media. While some material use is covered, the course is lecture-based exposing students to terminology and assignments geared to learn the application of those terms. This course counts as a prerequisite for the art minor and is for non-majors.
